Central City BBQ was built by relationships that stem from Chef Aaron Burgau, Chef and Owner of Restaurant Patois. Aaron has been involved in the restaurant business since he was fourteen years old. Aaron and Jesuit High School classmate, Marc Bonifacic talked about doing something together in the restaurant business for almost 20 years before deciding on their first location at 1201 South Rampart.
Where there’s smoke…there’s Central City BBQ. In 2016, Aaron, Marc, and partners restored a building in New Orleans' historic Central City, where they combined their passion for smoke, fire, and whole hog barbecue. Today, Central City BBQ is bringing their iconic barbecue meats and dishes to the Central Business District.
